Our Rental Bicycles
First of all, we recommend that you check out our cycling safety tips.
Regarding what bicycle to rent, see some info below and see also this link about our cycling tour levels. For any questions such as how to get ready for the tour, or about e-bike rental or others, please check out our FAQ's section with some useful info. In any case, feel free to contact us for any other questions. We'll be delighted to help!
We are excited to travel with you by bicycle and here below you can see what kind of options we offer. Please remember that if you rent a bicycle for one of our cycling tours, it is expected that the condition you receive it in is how it will be returned. You are fully responsible for any damage incurred during the bicycle rental period. As one would do with a rental car, we strongly recommend that you check your bicycle carefully upon receipt and report any existing damage to your guide. At the end of the tour, your guide will inspect your bicycle for visible damage and relay to you if a possible charge is expected from our bicycle supplier.

WHAT COMES WITH YOUR BICYCLE
- Water bottle
- Saddle (if you prefer to bring your own please do, because you are already used to it and it will make your ride more comfortable)
- Seat bag with CO2 cartridge (or bike pump), valve, tire irons and spare tube
- Front and back lights for safety reasons (if you prefer to bring your own please do)
- Universal phone-holder that attaches to your handlebar to navigate with free app Ride with GPS ** with your mobile phone. If you prefer to bring your Garmin or similar device, please do and we’ll upload our routes for you. Another option is to use one of our Garmin Touring Edge and please note that the display is smaller and, given its more complex functionality, it takes more time to get used to it
WHAT DOES NOT COME WITH YOUR BICYCLE
- Helmet: If you prefer to rent a used one let us know (rental is $40 per helmet)
- Clipless pedals: our customers in general bring their own clipless pedals and bike shoes. If you are new to clipless pedals we strongly suggest to practice at home before you join us on tour, just to feel enough confident and ride safely
- Flat pedals: available upon request
*Depending on availability and destination we might use different brands, but we guarantee similar types and quality of bicycles. Please contact us for more details
**Ride with GPS app for navigation is the most user-friendly system that features the largest possible display (your phone). The app works even on airplane mode--so you don't have to use your data. Given battery use during navigation, we recommend bringing an extra battery pack
YOUR BIKE MEASUREMENTS
In order to ensure a perfect fit on your bike rental, please collect and send us the following measurements on the bike you use regularly at home: A, B, C, D (as pictured) either in centimeters or in inches + your height.
We will select the bike accordingly, and set it up as close as possible to the measurements you submit to us. Given differences in bike models, your rental bike fitting, on tour, may need some slight adjustments.
If you need help, please let us know. We are here to assist you.
